do you think that the Memphis 15-154D and the Rockford Fosgate 3001 amp would be a good combo for a 94 Celica? me and my friend went to Dr. Dashboard in Indiana and we auditioned all their stuff...etc...she only has about $300 to spend and the RF amp is already availible and the sub i can get for $300 in a vented box, i played some bass tracks and things on it and it sounded pretty solid...she wants bass bass and more bass...and this sub would come with a warranty...

if you are going to spend 300$ on an amps there are A LOT better stuff than that fosgate punch amp, dont waste youre money get something clean and worth it, look into brands like JL,ARC AUDIO, ZAPCO , DIAMOND AUDIO, US AMPS, and dont look at crutchfild if youre gona go with that fosgate there pretty expensive, and if you got 300$ for a sub look into RESONANT ENGIENEEING, ADIRE AUDIO, IMAGE DYNAMICS, JL.

Reading comprehension Mafia, Scarell said she already has the amp :P
That Memphis sub should be pretty sweet. I've always liked their products and have used a couple of their speakers in my personal vehicles in the past. If she can get the sub and a custom built, tuned ported box for $300, I'd say that's a pretty good deal.
I'd go back to the shop and see if they can build the box and then let her test it in her car before buying it so she can confirm that's what she likes. Many good shops will let you do this.

as i said above and as Dustin said, i have an amp....i got the amp for $50...so i wont complain, also, this sub Will be under warranty for 2 years....so for $300, brand new sub in a vented box, i did look around, and this was the cheapest they had, and it isnt that bad of a choice. she also has a nice Alpine cd player, she is soon replacing her front speakers with some Infinity's, her back ones are replaced with Pioneers(dad bought em for her), overrall she will have a nice system for not spending too much.

well the back speakers are Pioneers, the fronts are stock, back and front are the perfect size, 6 1/2"s so ill have her get some Infinity's from Dashboard also...i think that RF amp will go good with that 15" in that vented box...now its just up to her.
