Last time I was on here you where just thinking about making your own subs. Now, you're making them. I'm looking for something different for my set up and wanted to know if you could give me a list of subs and prices you got. Oh, and I really wanted to know about the box you made me if you remember.
It was for the Excution 15 and it was a team hifionics box, I just can't remember what it was tuned to or the size of it. I know it's been like two years but I just can't remember.
ill post up some info here in a bit. busy as hell right now.
I build my subs to order to a budget using the best i can get for that certain price. i can build pretty much anything you want in a 3in coil. using round or flat wire copper or aluminum in pretty much any impedance. using titanium former or aluminum former's. i have a few diffrent motor's currently in stock. and i have soft stiff spiders in 7 8 and 10" and i can put them in any combination to suit the box and power requirements. Currently i have a round wire dual 2 coil with 2 soft and 1 stiff spider in my buick on an MBquart Discus 1000.1 in a 3.95 CF box it does a 136 at 44hz from the trunk. but the box is incredibly flat designed for sq.
i guess in essance i can pretty much build anything you want from 8-18's from any power range you want.

Hey Bill I have a couple questions for you too.
What type of coil design do you normally use?
Underhung, overhung, dual gap?
And have you had any of your subs tested. I would love to see a couple BL plots.

We typically use overhung coil's the larger coil height helps with increased power handling. larger surface area = more cooling.
We have had some light testing done with our woofers however because we dont make any "bread and butter" or off the shelf subs none of them are really the same sub so without repeatability we would be testing every sub we make. unfortunately im not setup for that yet. we go on experience and mathematical principal
any more questions guys? or anyone else? got some free time so i can answer pretty much anything.

could you pm me a price on an 18" dual 2 fsq that'll take about 3kw in 5-8 cu ft? and how would the sub i'm describing compare up to a btl?
