whats a good brand sound dampener for car doors? Cheap would be good too. And what exactly do I need? They talk about sheets and such...how many do you need for a 2 dr coupe?

I like Raam mat. It's cheaper than most of the stuff out there, but it's very high quality. It sticks exceptionally well and doesn't smell when the car gets hot. I believe you can get a 60 sq ft roll for $100 shipped. That is enough to do your whole car.

I personally use eDead. Cheaper then Raam mat. Doesn't smell and goes on very well. Check out the Elemental Designs webstie for info on it.

I got a sample of fat mat, fat mat extreme and fat mat liquid.
For most people the normal fat mat would work. The extreme is a little thicker and less plyable- it is also aluminum covered.
THe liquid seems awesome for trunk lids and stuff.
