We need someone to come up with some cool graphix.

We need them for the buttons and icons you guys see.

All we have now are the lamer ones that come stock with the board. We may have some better ones with other templates but they will not be car audio related....

I know Bill has worked on a banner. Maybe put your talent into something we could really use soon? :p

Anyhow lets get this place spruced up a tad...

All buttons. As far as color scheme.... Keep with the contrasting colors like in the banner where possible. I think its best to maintain a close color scheme to what we had on EZ Board.

hmm,
The new Thread and Reply buttons are a little hard to read.
The other buttons need something. I like how the stock ones have little icons next to the text.

If I get some time tomorrow, I'll try and find some icons to use. Or make some if I can't find anything.

I fixed the first two, I accidently made it off white. Now it's pure white, but I'm not sure if it is still easy to read.

I was thinking a screwdriver next to the Edit button (on it that is). I'm not sure about quote though, a speaker with sound waves? (cartoon speaker pointing to the upper right)

Are the image sizes limited? I've just been making them to the same size as the existing. If the software doesn't say, then there is no limit.

Instead of limiting yourself to an image on the button what if the image was only partially on the button?

You would need a transparent background then??

The buttons could be a tad bigger. GIF is fine for buttons, take up less room....

That's what I was going to do. I just didn't do it with the speakers because it doesn't look good withe the speakers half off or partially off; they would have to be separate if so.

In order to have transparency, you can only use gif algorithms. I have transparency on the buttons above for the corners.

I also rethought that clarion one; we can't use it because the Edit button only shows up for your own posts.

I also agree that the buttons should be larger. Think 1.5 times is too much? I'd change them now, but I'm not home right now.
