How many crossover does a 4 chennal amp have ( if it says build with internal high/low crossover) ? I mean, is there a one for each chennal or just one which control every chennal. I am going upgrade my audio ( first time), thinking to buy a 4 chennal amp, two chennals for the rear speakers and anther two for sub. Can I bridge the two chennal together for the sub and also customize the freqence?

on most 4ch amps, there are 2 crossovers, one for front, and one for rear. you'll have to check the amp to make sure, before you make a purchase.

Most have four channel amps utilize two crossovers for each section of the amp.

You should be able to bridge one side of the amp for the sub if you want to. Just make sure the Ohms match up correctly.

just one more thing, on a 4 ch amp, there are front input and rear input. Do I need to split the rear RCA from the head unit in to two, in order to plug both front and rear input on the amp. ( cause I want to use this amp to power my rear speakers and one sub and leave the front speakers for the HU).

thanks alot.

you run rear RCA and sub RCA lines to the amp.
that is, if your head unit has F/R/S outs
