Awesome sub for the money.

They hit damn hard, given 450x2 rms to them @<hidden> 2 ohms.

Very clean and tight bass response.

They look as good as they sound.

The price is just unbeatable, i paid 200 for the pair of 'em new.

All in all i'm extremly happy with these subs, i'd highly rec. them to anyone looking for a hard hitting sub, that has great sq and doesn't wana break the wallet.

REPLY: I found a site that offered these subs for $99 dollars/ sub, new. Shiping was $30 total. I took this price quote to Ransoms, (Local Audio Shop) and they matched it, excluding the 30 shipping price. So all in all i got two new alpine type r's from my local audio shop, for about 200 bux.

Where did you get for 200 for both, does that not include shipping? Used?

THe subs go for 150 shipped or so on ebay, and 200 a piece from crutchfield. Best buy has them for mid 200's, i think 249... don't remember!

These are incredible subs for the buck... but they arent the most effeciant things. They have a big fat low end but lack some punch.

If you are more into rap and have some power to throw at them (they will handle 1200 or so watts a piece!) good pick.

Meh I've had some since they came out, b4 they came ou actually,IMO they have good punch and where they lack is the bottom end below 35hz I'd say.But then again prolly all in the box mine are in a doubleshot and yes they are power hungry id go least 500-600 a piece.Absolutely sound horrible sealed blah oh ye they were 119.00 each 2ohm.Free shipping woofersetc.com
