What are the pros/cons of running each of these three tweeter locations?

I dont want to cut anything if i dont have to. Thats also why im thinking about just putting the tweeter in the coax loacation. But if that way wont sound as good, then I'll cut a hole.
Speaker specs:
MB Quart Reference 6.5" with .75" component tweeter
be as symetrical as possible. dont change or put in really weird places, thats most important. where you put the speakers is where the sound will come from, if they aim from door to door, then they will sound like they do now. if you put them next to the window aiming at you, then it will seem the music is in front. etc...
its ideal to make a soundstage. a lot of people use the analogy of a concert, the sound should come from the front, most bands dont put speakers behind or to the side of the crowd. i recommend aiming the tweeters at an angle close to the passenger/driver. mids however aren't as important to worry about aiming.
i think the difference will be noticable, however it all depends on how you want it to sound. i like the mids near the floor, and the tweets above and below the dash approximatly, aiming at the seats. everyone has their preference. i suggest you tape them into all those positions and listen to what sounds best, before you cut holes.

Yeah my sugestion is for you to get some double sided tape, and play with the location till you find something you like. Keep a pencil handy, and mark the spots you find that you like for later. All cars are diffrent, so don't expect a spot that sounds great in your buddies car to sound amazing in yours.
If you want to see were a speaker is aiming you can use one of those lazer pens, or a peice of 1/4 inch dowl, and a peice of wood the same diameter as your tweet. Just drill a hole in the center of the peice of wood that the pen, or peice of dowl will slide into, and place it were ever you want. Its not 100% but its pretty close.
