well i was given another amp.... another old school one like that one i posted about last year... this time its an Autotek one.... i wasnt able to find anything out about it, still cant find crap about it... only info i know on it is what the amp says and what William found... i dont remember the quote but it was made by Zed, and that its supposed to be alright.. and underrated.. :help: .... anyway, the question is... how do i hook this sumbitch up?

AmpPic1 (megahurts4.servebeer.com/JARED/AmpCloseUp1.jpg)
AmpPic2 (megahurts4.servebeer.com/JARED/AmpCloseUp4.jpg)
AmpPic3 (megahurts4.servebeer.com/JARED/AmpCloseUp7.jpg)
AmpPic4 (megahurts4.servebeer.com/JARED/AmpCloseUp6.jpg)
AmpPic5 (megahurts4.servebeer.com/JARED/AmpCloseUp5.jpg)

anyway as you can see theres 5 little wires..

white
green
orange
blue
yellow

after removing the black tape from all the wires... the orange and yellow had speaker wire attached.. so im guessing this was for the speakers.. the other wires im not sure about... but i am sure that the big black and red wires are ground and battery... the red is for the battery(even had corrosion on it)...
any help or info is appreciated guys. LaTeR

open the case up and see if the PCB is silkscreened.

the "screws" are for an alan wrench and they are stripped pretty bad... i am not too worried about this amp so i may just pry it open.. but im goin to see if i can try to get it open the right way somehows.

use a dremel to slot the screws. Then just use a flat head scew driver.

^^^ agree.

Just use a thin cut off disk :)

or just soak the allen screws with some penetrating oil for a little bit then try breaking them.

well with the help of you guys and the awesome of well a guest over at ROE, i hooked the amp up.... orange was the remote wire, which i just ran a wire from the Autotek amp to my RF's remote wire connector... but uh, ill post what the guy at ROE said:

"i havent seen an older one like that for some time...
i had three 7600's in 91' and they were badass, now "maxxsonics" owns them and they arent the same.
the orange wire is the remote
blue(pos), yellow(neg) left ch.
green(pos), white(neg) right ch.
to bridge... blue(pos), white(neg)

if i remembered correctly, that should work for you. hope i helped"

anyway the guy didnt leave his name but thanks anyway.. i wired up my front speakers bridged.. and it sounds pretty good..this amp doesnt seem that bad.. not sure what to set the gains and stuff too, any suggestions? anyway i will have some pics soon.. LaTeR
