I recently purchased a pair of Eclipse 5.25" Point Source (New Model). $100.00
I've also purchased a pair of 5x7" Point Source (New Model) Speakers. $150.00
This review is regarding both products.
For the money these speakers sound awesome. The fronts are clean and crisp, (Can get a little harsh at high volumes, but a lil eq adjustment fixes that).
The rears also sound amazing, they to have that clean crisp sound while still providing that light bass.
Both sets of speakers are being fed 100 watts RMS (100x4 @<hidden> 4 ohms). They are taking the power great, being a lil over rms for the fronts.
They look awesome too, and are extremely well constructed. When I first seen 'em I was impressed. Nice and durable, that’s how I like my speakers.
All in all these speakers are awesome for the price range! If you need a nice set of highs, or some mids, and don't have the money for something such as Rainbow (I know I sure as hell didn't) then I’d recommend these without a question.
