I FINALLY got my CVR up and running today. It's running off a Profile AP1000M being fed 500 wrms. It's in a 4.5 cu ft box tuned to 35 hz. My initial impression of the sub is that it is absolutely the best bang for the box sub i've experienced. Upon recieving the CVR I noticed it seems much more durable than the older ones. I've had about 25 minutes of listening time on this and it's by far the loudest setup i've ever had in my Jeep. I absolutely love the low end this sub has. I listened to a few songs on the new Mike Jones cd and the newest lil jon remix cd and it hits you hard. It absolutely shakes and rattles everything when it gets low (steering wheel, dash board, change in the cup holder etc. you name it) This thing sounds damn good in a low tuned box as well. I'll add to the SQ side of it when I have a chance to listen to something other than rap.

I've been using the sub for nearly a week now and all I can say is WOW. I love this thing even more than I did initially. It gets VERY loud and extremely low. I can't wait to get this thing on a meter. I still haven't listened to any SQ songs on this thing yet because i'm so stoked about how loud it gets, but eventually i'll get somethin in here about it. One thing I can say is that this sub never sounds sloppy at all. It's very clean and i'm sure the fairly low tune does it some justice. I'll try to take a vid of it off my digital camera and see if i can get it on here.

I finally got a chance to do a little SQ listening. I popped in the Eagles Greatest Hits Volume 2 and listened to several songs. The first song on the album is my favorite; Hotel California. I love the instrumentals and vocals in that song and suprisingly my CompVR didn't sound sloppy at all and didn't play over the vocals what so ever. I'm still entirely impressed with the sub overall. Great SQL budget sub.
