well some of you may know, i have a pair of 10" Planet Audio Vortex... i have a Rockford Fosgate 3001, (150@<hidden>, 300@<hidden>), well i switched a friend amps for a bit just for the heck of it.. so now i have a Scosche(blah) amp, not sure on the specs.. anyway i was wondering how you would wire these subs(i have them wired already.. they sound fine i guess, but just incase)

and on the other side, theres 4 more of them posts.. no red dots, no nothin... any help would be really appreciated...

do you have a multimeter and a 9 volt battery? if so test the ohms with the multimeter and the polarity with the battery.

pshhhhhhh Kiki you couldnt handle these bad ass subs.. :thumbsup ... eh no dmm here.. ill just leave it how it is til i have a bit of time on my hands to mess with stuff... im not too worried about these subs..

ok well i made a picture of how i have em wired now.. im pretty sure they are wired in parallel... i have em bridged... not sure what they are gettin... the amp does like... 210 at 4ohms and 400 somethin at 2ohms i think... the Scosche amp is SA550 (cant find much, wasnt lookin to hard though)... anyway here is the pic.. maybe you guys can help me figure out what i have it wired too and how to wire if it is wrong or something.

well depending on whether your subs have 4 or 8 ohm voice coils or maybe even 2 ohm..you have series wired each subs voice coils and paralleled the two subs together so you have either created 4, 8 or 16 ohm speakers with the series wiring and then paralleled them together to create either2,4 or 8 ohm setup to the amplifier.
