I have a few questions if you would answer em for me. My younger cousin got 2 P2 12s and claims they are uber loud, like he sat in hondas with 2 of em and it was hard to breathe (i dont believe it). He said if they arent loud enough he will get P3s. Now to the questions.

What in the world is the difference between the 2 and the 3 besides the rated power qts, vas and the 1 mm more x max, and how much better will the 3 be than the 2 because of those factors.?
What would make someone pay more for a stage 3?
Will a 3 be alot louder than a 2?

The specs are below

I can't tell you if it is louder, but I know for a fact that the SQ difference between the two is night and day. P3 over P1 and P2 any day.

the p3 is dual VC too... I used to have a pair of p2's and they were alright... they got pretty loud but for the price you can get alot better sub.

Do you know why the sq is better or you just know from hearing?

To give yall a laugh, my little cousin is gonna keep getting better subs or adding them until he breaks all his windows. I just ignore this kid and avoid him as much as I can, hes one of those people that think he is the greatest person on earth.

RF p3 series are cast basket also instead of rolled or stamped steel. The P1 and P2 try to look cast.
From the T/S parameters given, there are some I personally look for that are missing from the list. Qes, Qms, Le, BL.

I've heard each one in the same box P1, p2 and P3. The P3 is audibly much better sounding.

Tell him good luck with that. Unless his windows are already screwed up, it's not gunna happen. Hell people do mid 150's all the time without cracking windows.

A window will be physically blown out of it's housing before it would crack (usually). Older, weaker windows will more likely crack.

Yep, hence the reason you see major flexing of the windows in really loud setups, but never cracks. If your window cracks, it was a shitty one anyways.

well a good fiberglass enclosure will EASILY cost over $200 IN MATERIALS. No possible way he's getting a good fiberglass enclosure for $65. Can't wait to see pics of this.
