I need to know of a good amplifier that will produce around 1000rms at 1 ohm for around 300 dollars that will power my 2 alpine type r's.

if you look on ebay i think you can get a hifonics 1200 watt amp for about that much money but are your subs dual 2ohm or dual 4ohm, if they are dual 4's then that will be a great amp for you if they are dual 2 ohm youll have to find an amp that makes its power at 2ohms

never used them but for those hifonics amps they are great for the money, im a dealer for them but you wouldnt be close to buying them from a dealer for that price so thats y i told you to go to ebay. and are ur subs dual 2 ohm or dual 4ohm

for 300 i can get memphis 1000rms, jbl 1200rms, kicker 1200 rms, all of wich are better than hifonics

the JBL are nice amps for the price. I am running two of them in my setup right now. Good reliable power.
There are a few on ebay. I am happy with mine.
