Im putting a single RE 10 in my reg cab S10 and wanna know what would be the cheapest amp solution...it will be in the rec. sized ported enclosure (1 cube) site says 175RMS and 250MAX....thing that makes his hard is that they are dual 4 so i need an amp that does 150-200 at 2 ohms...not easy to find....anyone got some suggestions? think i could throw 300 on it in a sealed box?

It's 250 max and you want to throw 300 at it? Think about that.

well...i figured it might work if i kept the gains down, but...i guess its the fosgate 200M then...only decent 200w at 2 ohm amp i could find (for under $200)

I'd feel okay with throwing 300 at it as long as you adjust the gain appropriately and play the sub within it's physical limits (ie don't let it bottom out).

Sound domain has the JBL BP 150.1 on sale for $74.95, its renewed, but who cares? They also have the JBL BP 300.1 for $139.95, it to is renewed. I would get the 150.1, but thats just me. JBL makes pretty good amps, I had the BP 600.1 and it never gave me any problems.

WHOA man you do NOT need to spend 200$ on such little power, you should spend under 100$ for something like that if you look, this might work

i THINK you can wire this without going to 2 ohms, if you can it will give 175+ and it will sound very clean, i had a mrv-t 420, very clean sound, like i said im still not sure how mono amps come, ive heard they come like 2 channel amps, and ive heard they only come with one + and - so you got to check on that, if it works go to ebay.
