What a retard.
After readnig that post I started scouring the ecoustics boards and found this, this guy is a moron too:
hmmm...worried about sum1 stealing it? i think they have these little sensor things that can help save your investments...alarm is what i think they call it ;)just because you have an "unliftable" box doesnt mean they can't steal your whole car....
B*tch wtf is an alarm gonna do. U really think the people stealin my sh1t r gonna b scared of an alarm? if the alarm goes off n i run out there they just gonna start shootin at me...or at whoever is being nosey...it happens all the time. It happened to my boy when someone was stealin his two 15' solo barics...he ran out there n they started shootin at him...maybe where ur from the people get scared of an alarm...but an alarm aint gonna do me no good thats why i want one big box so no one can steal it. im gonna disconnect the battery everynight so they cant steal it and ima get a column lock thing too. im putting my subs in the back of a Ford Aerostar Station Wagon body with all the back seats out so i can fit whatever i want back there.so what kind of box should i get made then ? ported, sealed? im looking for w.e. makes more bass i dont really care about sound quality...i want people to hear me from a couple blocks away.

Why disconnect your battery? Just get an alarm with engine kill on it so they can't steal it.

in all honesty if they want your car they'll get it.
they'll use a tow truck with a 'double eagle' snatcher that bites the drive tires and lifts the whole front or rear of the car.. then they'll use clamp dollies to get the other two tires if its in park.
takes about 45 seconds if they're good.
if you do the alarm well though, you can wire the starter and/or the fuel pump through the starter kill relay.
or, starter through the alarm, and a hidden kill switch for the fuel pump (electric) which prevents anyone from starting the car, even hotwired.
plenty of good tricks like that to keep your car.. yours.
another handy add-on is an electronic hood bolt.
this bolts the hood shut using a solenoid and linear actuator so without the alarm and remote, you can't open the hood.
this stops people from reaching into a broken window and popping the hood to cut battery or siren cables.
also very good for folks with tricked out motors like me who don't want to come out to find your $850 4bbl cabs missing.. along with the manifold and heads. lol
you can also use battery backed sirens.
those are great if they try to cut wires from under the car, or yank out the brain if they find it.
