Are you okay with going ebay? I got my sis a $600 dollar cd player for $220, and a XM tuner came with it. If you go to www.alpine.com they have prices for all their cd players. They have a nice one for 315-330 I think.

Not a big E Bay guy to be honest with you but I'll check out the Alpine site mentioned. Any good models from them or Eclipse, or even Pioneer greatly
appreciated.

My sister's CD player is the Pioneer MP9000 I think. It has two "faces" It's really nice. You really can't go wrong with alpine. Stick with the ones that can play mp3's tho. It's real nice to have about 4-6 cd's on one. As for eclipse, I'd say the say same thing. My girlfriends dad has an eclipse cd player,3543, or 3553.
It's about 3 years old. Soild HU. I never really liked the looks of eclipse tho. If you are gonna be running multiple amps, go with a HU that has 3 outs. Front/Rear/Subwoofer. That will give you a lot of control over the system too.

Thanks for the direction High Society.
This stuff can get overwhelming at times when
you are doing a system overhaul :surprised

i really like the eclipse decks especially the higher 8000's models. JVC arsenal are also good decks and so are panasonic mxe i havent had any trouble with those yet and i sell them. the MXE is supposidly the least likely to break.

Well I have a JVC Arsenal KD-SH909 deck from 4 years ago and it still works without problems. I would have to say they are reliable with good features.

Ya right, I love to show off the T&A the cd player is able to capture. The looks on people's faces when they see fine honey's on the cd player.

I have a JVC KD AR 860, I like it a lot but haven't put any pics on it yet
last years 8445's are on clearance right now around here for $300, and on ebay. although you won't have a warranty on ebay cause of no internet sales by eclipse. check local dealers, im sure they are on clearance there as well

Well not really lol. The Excelons are good, but for the price you can get better in another brand. All of their lower models are garbage. I've seen numerous lower models fail for really no reason after a year or so.
