My dad just changed his home theater system and was thinking of selling his old equipment on eBay. I'm trying to discourage that because of the high cost for shipping it and I really want to buy it :bigwink: So I was wondering if someone could tell me about how much this system is worth?
It consists of a Yamaha HTR-5590 receiver which is 6.1 and is about 5 or 6 years old, I think. 100 watts x 6 RMS. He also has a powered Yamaha sub YST-SW205, he said he paid around $299 for the sub. The other speakers are all JBL, a center channel, two front 3-ways, and 2 rear 2-ways. Sorry I don't know the sizes. The front speakers are pretty big, probably 24" by 8" by 10"
