Ok, i wanna set up a new system in the trunk.. i wanna get 1 12" RE XXX, but i dont think i'm gunna have the cash for it... So the line under the XXX is called the SX? well my question is i wanna set up a systen for SQ... i listen to a lot of TOOL and A Perfect Circle type stuff so... everything needs to be right on, so is the SX good? i mean for 270$ it better be good, but is it going to give good quality... i'm only going to put 1 of them back and giving it about 800watts RMS. This sound ok? or should i save up for a little more and just grab the XXX?

When I purchased my set of 10" XXX's, the guy was trying to talk me into the SX's instead. He said they are a lot cheaper and get almost as loud. They have slightly better SQ then the XXX's. He said for the price, the SX is an amazing deal. Go with the SX.

yup the SX is a great sub as well, just lacks a bit of the excursion of the XXX.
on the bright side it takes less power too.
