awesome... I'm trying to decide between getting the windows tinted or getting the the cdts on next weekend... If I get the cdts I still wont have an amp so...... I'll probably post new pics of the window tint next week.

the interior is in good shape, but yeah, its dusty and stuff.. i need to get it cleaned and all that.. and some of the interior parts are off.. like the door panels.. the owner before me broke most of the clips, so they come off slightly when you close the door and crap, so i just leave them off.. it doesnt bother me.. the rear deck cover is in the garage.. still havent put it on after putting the peel and seal on it.. only problem i have with that is the peel and seal glares off the window so it can be a hassle to see out of it sometimes, but not bad.. and.. some parts on the center console where the cd player are off because of running new wires and all that.. other than that its in great shape for a 94.. the paint is alright.. some scratches on top of the roof somehow, and some small small dents here and there.. and well the ol lady ran into her porch.. scratching the front bumper... but no dents or nothing, runs pretty good too. has a 198,??? thousand miles..

You can get those little clips at any auto parts store...

I cant stand when my truck is dirty, it errks me.... It doesnt have to be spotless but theres isnt ever any trash in it...

So yeah, put the interior back together, clean her up, and drive it until it dies....:happy055:

Scarrell,
You might consider using more deadner than just here and there. Sure the rattles will be taken out, but if you seal off your door with deadner, it will help you get more midbass out of the speaker. I will post up a picture of my door so you can get an idea.

thats what ill be doing in a few weeks, deadening my doors and making some mdf baffles for a pair of kicker ssmb6 midbass's. and i was just gunna piece it together like scarrell, but after reading that joe, i may try and deadon the whole door when the time comes, as well as my rear deck and trunk lid (i have NO deadening in my car right now).

i found a great link in our faq suggesting to deaden the back of my q-loqic kick panels as well, and using my door for the 75-150Hz midbass region since the kick's are open back and will never get the midbass response i desire. my only question now is will another kicker zx200.2 be enough for these new drivers...

yeah, when i started sound deadening the doors it was really hot out, so i didnt get to do all of the doors.. but i will soon.. i may take the metal part of the door that the speaker hole is on, take it off and sound deaden both sides, but i dunno if i can take that off or not.. ill getter all did sooner or later:argh

I figured you would. You seem like a knowledgeable dude.

Scarrell

im knowledgable but not as knowledgable as alot of members on here.. but i know most of the basics, but i cant get all scientific with you and all that, but if i ever have a problem i can usually fix it myself.. alot of people from my town come to me for help and suggestions and are usually satisfied with my answers, because most kids around here dont know how to hook up a amp and sub correctly, so it sounds like butt, or think the gains need to up all the way..etc.. just your basic everyday stuff people do who dont know much about car audio..ive never had the chance to learn much about car audio, just what ive taught myself and learned from here, i dont have access to any high end stuff or vehicles to work on, just my own and my friends... my next project is learning to do fiberglass.. a friend is goin to teach me and we will do some kick pods, and then we are going to seal off my trunk and wall off the Saturn.. but needless to say i will be around til this board goes and will continue to help and learn at the same time..

oh and the ol lady is learning a little at a time also.. hopefully she will join the board and help out ;)

guys, just got back from a comp.. this time it was the new TL :p anyway, i did a 140.7, and a 114 or so doing drive by using Lil Jon - Throw It Up chopped and screwed.. i didnt think i did too bad.. took home 3rd place in drive by and 2nd in bass off or whatever.. :sm29:

also to note.. this was my first time doing drive by.. and NO ONE told me i couldnt go back.. but this wasnt a points event, it was just for fun. so they didnt disqualify me.. and sorry for the vids, my friend recorded them, he didnt do a very good job, but ohwell..

Looks good, all you need to do is flush mount the amps, so all you see is the top of the amps. Everything else is hidden.

That would look pretty good.

I agree it's a great start on what could be a really awesome looking finished product:)

yeah it would look great, but i plan on doing a wall soon.. so.. the amps will go in the trunk flushed mounted and showing the amp guts(maybe.. if i decide they look worthy enough).. also, i may not even run the JBL's then(well maybe the 180.2) i plan on getting a couple Crossfire 2000's or something along them lines.. either four 15"s or six 12"s or somethin like that.. we'll see.. you never know.

You may not want to deaden both sides. The owner of RaamMat posted something somewhere that said you should only do the outside of the door, however, I don't know if he said that in reference to something or what.
