It'll be a couple more weeks before I can get started on the install. Too bad I'm gonna have to let the Beretta go, after I rip everything out of it.

I bought this last Thursday. It's a 1989 Astro with the 4.3L engine. It needs some work like power steering pump (finished replacing it Sunday), and starter. There are some dings and dents that will be straightened out over time. Also have to replace both front door handles.

Now for the project plans: This will be built mainly for Bass Race, but able to do SPL also.

6 18" Fi Audio subs. Lookslike I'll start next season off with Qs and upgrade during the season to BTLs fully optioned.
6 BXi-2006D amplifiers. One for each sub, even though the subs can handle more than that. Will need more power than this for the BTLs.
Replace the 6x9s in the dash with 6.5s
A Pillar mounted tweeters
6.5s in the doors. 2 per door at minimum
Drop down monitor between sunvisors
60 FT^3 enclosure before port and sub displacement
2 alternators at 200amp each
1 battery per 1,000 watts
4 (minimum) runs of 1/0 for positive and negative

I have to cut the slider bar for the sliding door. This should not hurt the door as it'll still be functional. There will be some other mods done eventually, like, v8 swap, front end swap, and newer dash swap.

A 60 FT^3 box is, from what I've been told, gonna take up everything from the B pillars to the back of the rear tire wells. That's a lotta space going to be taken up.

A local car audio shop is talking about building a battery box under the van where the spare tire goes.

I was going to go ahead and lower it, but was told to hold off on doing that until I get the full system installed. The system is gonna do a lot of the lowering for me.

Looking for a paint scheme/them now.

Next season is gonna be a fun and busy one. I will be cruising most of the East Coast from the looks of it.

That looks like it'll be a hell of a van when you're done with it. I think you should keep your current custom "TechSys" (spray)paintjob. :)

i would drop the 6 bx2006ds and get 2-3 high power amps like 2 cyclops or 3 cyclops

I would go with something like the Cyclops, but remember, I've only got a couple months (March at the latest) to get everything installed. Not sure if I can get them in time. Hell it's gonna be hard enough to get what I've listed.

No hot pink. I can't stand that color. I kninda like the other idea thouh.. hmmm.

I'm not gonna keep the Custom Techsys on the side, but, I will have a custom, "Tech Systems" to replace it. And no, it wont be spray bombed.

The system comes before anything else though, unless it has to do with keeping the van running.

How's this for an idea for the paint scheme:
Keep the van white, but fresh paint (easier paint job without inside doors, underhood, etc.). Also have TechSys custom painted on the sides, front, and back (some bold colors that will stand out on the white). Then have vinyl graphics made up of the equipment you are running... If you change equipment, just change the sticker.
