Wow Justin!!! That big Audison looks familiar!!! LOL

I love my focal sub, but they aren't really a "rockin" sub. Very detailed and clean would be the way I would speak of it.

and my pictures are here: OnYrMrk (http://www.carstereo.com/installs/photo_gallery_album.cfm?galleryid=1316)

I love how the Audison's have all their controls on the face instead of the side.

hey joe, you have any legal issues with the removal of the airbag? i recieved a fax once that showed how much shops and vehicle owners were getting fined for removal of airbags......

nope. No one has ever given me grief over taking out the Airbag. The only legal issue that could come up from removal of safety equipment is the Seatbelt. There is a seatbelt law here in effect and federally, seatbelts have to be worn. But there are cars without airbags out there, and you can't get a ticket for not having one.

While I'm not a wealth of legal information, they *could* fine you for taking out an airbag. They could just shove that in the grandfather clause. My older vehicles didn't have to have a seatbelt, nor did I have to wear one, simply because the vehicle never came with one. But take a seatbelt out of a new car, tickets galore. They could apply the same with airbags.

You have to watch incase you get into an accident also. If someone is injured and they find out you removed an airbag, that might be grounds for a lawsuit.

Federal regulations state that removal of any safety device(s) are prohibited, unless the vehicle is to be used for off road use only. Airbags may be turned off or disconnected at owners discretion, but not removed.
The grandfather clause will only be validated if the vehicle in question was produced within a certain time frame and the equipement an "optional" feature.
Safety equipement may be upgraded on any vehicle to provide more occupant protection. (i.e. lap belt and or shoulder harness to 4pt. or 5pt. system)
I've looked into this one, becuase of kids asking to remove the airbag.

This is the Danger Ranger. No system pics, had cleaned the truck out b/c a friend was picking it up later that day. You'll have to click to enlarge, rather large photo.

Well originally my car was to be a show car only, but due to a few other problems, it became a daily driver.

now thankfully my car is upgraded and I haven't the need for the dash mounted comps, therefore retaining the stock airbags.
