Speaker and amp help

My friend just purchased two JL W6 10" subs. They opperate at 6 ohms. HE was wondering if his speakers could be wired to 2 or 4 ohms or does he have to purchase a 6 ohms amp? Thanks for the help

Try lookin for an amp that is 1 ohm stable and just wire them in parallel.
