View Full Version : waffle iron fiberglass project
My project right now is to put a waffle iron in my trunk....im doing this by making a fiberglass mold of a side of my trunk. i will use a power inverter to power the waffle iron...today i taped up the side of my trunk and made the mold ... ill post some pics later tonight.

Because NOBODY ELSE HAS A WAFFLE IRON IN THEIR TRUNK!!! Haha, that's great.
...i'm hungry now...
I think i'm with justin on this one. thats such a waste of time...i'm sure there is something you could be doing that's at least a little bit productive.
dont set your car on fire.
its a project and it should be fun. I wanted to do something with fiberglass to see what it was like and for the experience so i chose this...we had an extra waffle-iron lying around so i thought of it. I wanted to put something in my car that nobody else had, but was still usable.
i can see where you guys are coming from...im not saying there's a point to the waffle idea, its more for the fiberglassing experience...for future reference.
pic-
here it is outside the trunk. weird mold.

Could of been something useful. Like a mini fridge or an electric grill!

its just painted black temporarily because fiberglass with resin is extremely ugly.

I like the fact that you have one of those multicolored light ball things in there. Not sure if they have a technical name or not.

Have you had the iron metered yet? I heard guys back in the 50's were hitting in or around the 170 dbs with that added bonus to their system. It must of been those old mics they were using. Make sure that the waffles are well done when the system starts "burping" because the aroma adds like 15 dbs. Just alittle advice...
