well the Tempest is no longer in service because the spyder came off the basket :sad017: , i emailed Adire and they think its a manufactuer defect so i have to send it in to get it re-coned. after i get the Tempest back i plan on keeping it or i may sell it. i am not sure.. the use of the RE 8" would be to sell or trade. i buy car audio equipment and sell it for cheaper than i bought it for, and i also build boxes for the subs i buy, and sell the stuff for pretty cheap.. and with the money i get back i do it all over again. also yes i can get them directly through RE but incase they are out is the reason why i posted here. :cheers:

scarrell...the caraudio.com forums are having an RE group buy right now. The price for an RE8 is 37$ shipped i believe. I'd just get it with the group buy..thats real cheap. good luck.

well i know a guy that is sellin 4 RE8's Brand new in box for $145 plus shippin..two of the mounting rings were bent during shipping but that wouldnt effect performance..in fact they would straighten out when u screw them in the box probably..anyways...you could ask him how much for a pair..he really needs to get rid of them so you could prolly get them cheap. He's paradigm sk8er on aim..but if u need an email i'll get it from him.

sometimes thats how group buys work. but with this one, RE is just hosting the "group buy" for a couple forums. Basically it is special prices right now on RE products. I didnt see a product code so im not sure if you need to say (when you call, only phone orders) that you are from caraudio forums or what. but heres the link to the thread. the TeamPSI guy who posted the info on the first response is from RE.

no $hit im poor... no but uh i got laid off and around here its hard to find a job. but uh, cheap? dude i can get 8" Comps/CompVR's and JL W0's for $45 a piece... the reason why i want an RE 8 is because i havent heard them before...
