I got some funny stuff going on...I just recently recieved a free 89 cutlass! The little fact that it is free enables me to spend all of my money on a sound system. I have decided to get 2, 15" Mmats Dreadnauts. I have a few questions about them though, such as what a good amp for them would be, and if i would need to buy a new alternator to run the amp....if anyone can help itd be much appreciated

MMATS D3000.05. 2500 watts at 1/5ohm. I would say yes to a new alt. Anything to power both to at least full is going to require a new alt.

Well if you indeed do decide to give the sub 1000rms then it would be a good idea to upgrade your alt..however Mmats also makes some excellent amps that would suit you i'm sure..very efficient amps which can be run off many stock alts. Also quite pricey, but well worth it..Just to clear things up..i'm not saying all of their amps can be run off a stock alt, but i have heard of 1000+rms run off a stock alt w/o any problems from an mmats amp...someone can chime in if they disagree.

Check out companies like CDT, Adire Audio, Resonant Engineering, Focal, Rainbow...to name a few. Check out the good, bad and ugly list under the FAQ section. And dont forget to look for an amp for the interior speakers too.

To even remotely be close to any "real" sponsorship you have to know all your stuff. YOu have to be able to design winning systems. You need to be on the forefront of the indutry....

When i build the box i was planning on porting it through, from the trunk to the rear deck. Any one think this is good???bad???ugly????

The easier the air from the trunk can enter the cabin will yield a better transfer rate.
It is always good to have the trunl~cabin connected this way.
