Whatr is a good universal muffler at a good price with a nice low sound? friend is looking for one i just dont know what to tell him i use a hayame performance on and it sounds great but he isnt looking to spend that much

Aren't all mufflers universal as long as you have the correct pipe enlargers/reducers?
yes they are but he doent want one that sounds like a high pitched crotch rocket

That is probably the only way around it. You can go with a shorter tip, it will deepen the sound some, but it is dificult to get those cars away from that pissed off bumblebee sound. Well hell, now that I think about it, aren't the tips already short on the ricers? Sinister is right, get a V8.

im not saying he wants the low grow of a v8 but different mufflers had different sounds....some lower than other yea they still sound like a bumble bee

Flowmaster makes an import specific muffler. It's not too loud and it's deeper sounding than most of the fart cannons on the market.

i still think the v8 is the way to go. u can never have to many cubic inches.

I think Flowmaster still has sound clips of them on their website. You can go hear it before buying.

if he ust wants a muffler I have 2, I had 3 sold one. They put the one i sold on a corsica and it sounded damn beefy.
