Id like to get a new amp for my subs. Im givin em 150 a piece and they are rated at 300 so i figure they could be a bit louder if i gave em full power. I was lookin to pay around 50 bucks if anyone has anything to sell lemme know

for $50 you won't be able to get much but cr@<hidden>! I have a hifonics nemesis amp pushing a pair of kicker comp vr 12's running at 1 ohm, and despite what people on this board think the amp does very well. It puts out about 350 watts per sub, never shuts off and makes my kickers pound like crazy. You should look to spend a minimum of $150 for an amp that puts out 600 watts, IMO.

My thoughts on most of Hifonics is that they are unreliable, but for the ones that do work, they work good.

Who owns Hifonics? I know they are associated with Crunch, is that what you mean?

I dont' think DEI owns them..if they do then they dont advertise them on their site..atleast i dont remember seeing them on there. Personally, i've only heard good things about DEI subs and amps..as well as viper/orion/ppi.

Orion used to be good, when they were made in America and self owned.

PPI used to be good, when they were made in America and self owned.

ADS used to be good, when they were made in America and self owned.

All owned by DEI, see a pattern here? Good companies get bought out, production goes to Asia, crap equipment is then created/sold.

Millenium Electronics Group owns them.

They make Autotek, GS Designs, Crunch, Maxxsonic and HiFonics.

i find it odd that everyone doggs on the new orion,ppi,and ads stuff because they are made by dei,yet everyone is so quick to rocomend a directed amp...something to ponder...as for a 600wrms amp,i have a crossfire bmf 600d,600wrms @<hidden>@<hidden> volts...i might let it go for around $250 shipped...Damon
