my 325 has a stock alpine amp in the trunk for the speakers/components. i think this amp died, because the volume went down a noticable amount....i have to turn it up to make it as loud as it used to be.
the clarion i have sends the signal through speaker wire, like a high level signal. if the amp died, would the HU continue to power the speakers through the dead amp? i cant think of any other explanation for the volume change.
