Since we're always tellin people to do the rear fill with Midbass if they have to put something back there... I got the perfect option
Bravox UXS6 6" Midbass
Single 4ohm voice coil and 80watts rms

These are the old models being replaced by the new EXS line
Bravox is clearing them out to get rid of them and I can sell these cheap
MSRP $59.00
Regular $50.00
I'm clearing these out for $20 bucks each
Currently I have 14 of them, but act fast cause I'm sure they won't last long at that price :)

Mmmmm Bravox.

Yeah I can vouch for those little subs. If their anything like the Kevlars they should pack a pretty good punch.

Midbass is still localizable (if that's a word), so naturally. :) Get that crossover right to the sub and it should sound nothing short of amazing.

True, but personally I do not believe that a subwoofer in the rear should be easily perceived or in other words it should be heard but not to such an extent that you can locate it, or perceive that it is in the rear of you. Also that the bass from the subwoofer should not overshadow the front stage but simply complement it.

Exactly why this makes for a good rear fill MIDbass ;)

And yeah, they are 6" :)

Are these still available? My one of my Kicker SSMB6 just blew, not sure why, but looking for a replacement. How might these compare to the Kickers? If they're still available, I'd still be deciding between these, Kicker SSMB6, or a pair of MB Quart midbass drivers, since they're all about the same price.

I'm very interested, just curious what the frequency response is. The manual lists 95Hz as F0, but I'm not exactly sure what that means.

F0 is another abbreviation for Fundamental Frequency... same meaning as Fs

And yes I do still have 2 of these left (1 pair)

I really don't know much about audio theory, or the terminology, I'm just curious what the frequency range of the speakers is. What is the upper limit they reproduce?

So do you plan on running these as a 3 way set up, or 2 way?

Front of the car or rear?

As a basic rule of thumb, I wouldn't run them below 80, or above 2 to 2.5K

I was thinking of running them in the rear deck, probably using the hi-pass at 200. I'll probably use a fader to adjust levels if needed. I know rear fill isn't always suggested, but I had a pair previously, and the way things were set up, they worked out great, but now I don't want to spend as much, so I've got to decide between these, or MB Quarts on Sonicelectronix for $40.

200!!!!! No man thats way to high.

Cross it over at 80 HPF and around 300 LPF. Any higher and you will pull your sound stage back towards the rear, and possiably start creating cancelation in your mid range.

Well, like I said, I wont be adding much volume, just fill, so it doesn't sound like all the noise is in front of me. Also, this was one of the reasons I was curious about the frequency response range. I don't have the parts to do a high and low crossover, it's one or the other. So, I can either go high pass at any frequency between 30-500, or do a low pass with 50-500.

While $40 bucks sounds like a hell of a deal on the MB Quarts, I do feel the need to point out that Sonicelectronix is not an authorized dealer for MB Quart... I'm not saying this to sway you, only to warn you, as they will not be covered under warranty by MB Quart themselves.
