hmmm interesting... sooo whens the real one coming... and how are you fabing this port??
not fabbing it. its a 10 inch diameter tube that will be glassed. and this is one of the 3 real ones why wouldnt it be a real box?

What's the reason behind sectioning off the port?
creates less turbulence in the box. and keeps flat surfaces to remove any odd loading conditions on the sub.

thats pretty sweet, I've seen other people use something along that line, enclosing, and some are of axising the port( teamtoxicbass). ARe there noticeable benefits over just your standard slot or aero porting???

nevermind, I re-read your answer, I was curious to the benefits of enclosing the port area.. I've seen other boxes lately designed something like this, with the port side firing..
box is up for sale if anyone wants it. full fiberglass internals not just resined its glassed port needs one more coat of resin but its good to go!
