Recently, Bill Wolf has gotten into creating his own custom woofer. Everyone so far knows this woofers and the Wolf Pack woofer... but we came up with a name for it. It is going to be called the FSQ.
These woofers are created with a 350oz magnet and a 4 spoke(10" and 15") or a standard 12 spoke(12" and 18") basket. They come standard with triple stacked spiders and i think of an option of quad spiders. There are 4 coil options.... D2, D1.4, D1, and D.7. The coil consists of a 4-layer flatwind copper coil.
The woofer is designed to be more for SPL usage.... high power handling and everything, but also be able to play music pretty well. Music power handling is going to be rated around 2500 watts. Burps, it can take 6k watts.
A little over a week ago, I was the first person to test out these woofers(besides Bill himself of course). I ran 2 of them in my Jeep at a competition. We actually had to put them in and wire them up a few hours right before the competition. Before this, I had 4 15" Autotek Mean Machine woofers and 1 Hifonics Colossus. They were in a 6th order bandpass that was designed by Bill Wolf. This setup was loud, very loud. When I switched to the 2 wolf pack, or FSQ, woofers, not much was lost at all, and i changed all the settings on my amp(gain got turned down). I also didnt burp at the competition at my normal volume(burped lower). The 2 FSQ woofers were put into a ported box that was basically half of my 6th order bandpass, but without the top bandpass part on. They burped around 2db lower than my 4 Autoteks. When bass racing though, it seemed like they were just as loud, took me just as long(with my late starts) to get up to the 139 range. A few months ago, I have the bandpass part off of my box that had the 4 Autotek woofers in it and i could tell the difference in output. It just wasnt as good. So when i put the bandpass back on and re-tune my amps and all that stuff, these 2 wp woofers will be just as loud, if not louder than my 4 old subs.
Now, i know some of you people are going to ask.... "how do they sound". Well, they sound like any other well built sub that is an all around good sub. To me, they sound really good. But im no SQ expert. They arent sloppy, they dont skip any beats, they just dont sound bad. For any person who is not an SQ expert, they will love how they sound.
Here are a few pics of the woofer.

On the left is a FSQ coil, on the right is an RE MT coil. Most know what an RE MT is, it is a big, bad, MF'n SPL sub. You guys can see the differences for yourself;)
Sorry i dont have a basket/motor shot here, hopefully we can get a basket/motor shot from Bill.
Pricing on these woofers is very good. This is one big, bad woofer for less than what other companies charge for their big, bad, woofers. These woofers start out at $320 for a 10", $330 for a 12", and $340 for a 15".
Any questions about the woofers, please ask.
