Kenwood install problem

ok, i'm installing a new kenwood cd player in my 2003 chevy malibu... the harness i bought says that the remote turn on for the cd player has to come from another source other than the factory harness because GM factory harness does not have 1... any1 know what other wire i should use?

to clarify, the bought harness basicly has a yellow memory wire, black ground, and red remote wire that tells the cd player to turn on...the red wire is the wire i'm trying to hook up

the red wire is your ignition source wire. you will be looking for 12v with the key on, and 0 with the key off. Don't confuse this with the amp remote wire, which is blue or blue\white stripe.
