I've got a 1991 Dodge Daytona and i'm currently building an audio system for it. The factory speakers in it were 5.25,3.5,and 5c7". I'm for sure going to put 5.25 back in , still debating on rear fill, but i don't know what to do about 3.5". should i just forget about them? Is there any advantage to having these? Thanks for the help...

Is the 3.5 in the back? If so and you are running a sub then there's no real point in having the 3.5.

Nope 3.5" are in the dash facing forward. One on the p side and one on the d side.

They may make a difference. I have 4x6's in my dash and i didnt think they would do much but i can hear them over my sub. If you can find a decent set of 3.5's then i would get them. It would help w/ the front stage.

Get a nice 5 1/4" comp set, amp it..and be done with it. Check out the Ark Kar components Justin sells. Quite inexpensive and high quality.

Hairbndlvr was in the same situation.
I advised against the speakers in the dash, he put them in anyhow. Now he regrets it....
IMO leave them out!

Okay, i guess i'll just leave them out, i'm not quite sure why, but if that other guy regrets putting them in then i'll just keep them out.
Thanks for the advice

Why?
It detracts from the front sound stage. You probably wont amp them so they will sound bad due to HU power. If you do amp them you will need to attenuate them down to a volume that does not distract from the door speakes, making them useless.
Just easier to avoid the problem then to deal with it :D
