Well as thrilled as i was with the partnership of AA and Fi Car Audio, I just looked at their pricing of their Assasin subs and WTF! $109 for a 10"? Yes i know its shipped at that price but even with shipping tacked on i bought 2 10"s 2 years ago for a little more than $160. Ugh I mean i spoke with scott but he said that they Fi and AA lines will not share the same build materials so what gives? Hopefully they are improved a bit more for the $20+ hike

The new assassins look like better subs than the old ones, and with a 12-spoke basket, not a stamped basket

do you realize the cost in metals and how much they have increased? i deal with this everyday at work metal prices have increased more than 80% in the past year!!! and of course companys like mine and many others are forced to eat it or customers complain because the price increase. so what do we do? how do we continue to succeed when our prices margins are REDUCED! by 80%!!!

get used to it it aint going away

Just appreciate the fact that you can't localize sub bass or you'd have to buy pairs and mount them in your doors :P

Well Bill's definately right on this one, the price of every material is going up and with it up goes the price... It's either that or they start taking away from the products to make them of less quality... So for the consumer it's lose/ lose... Pay more or get less.
And with the huge price hike in materials a 12-18% hike really isn't that bad.
