I just made a bunch of these and have them through out the living room. I wish the plates came in bigger sizes, so I can get a little more low end tho :(

I dont' know, but I heard that if you lick both the speaker wires at once while it's on, it will stop it from smoking and put out 5 times the power.

hmm,
I think these plate speakers might be just too powerful for my receiver, I did what you suggested, but all it did was shock me and caused my smoke detector to come on.

I'm going to go out and buy a more powerful receiver, and that should fix it :)

hey if I used an actual plate, wouldn't it have a higher resonant......and maybe I could have a component set!
