Ok I dont know if you have seen this but: here is what the new S6 Has for Fog Lamps:

Basically i want those or something even brighter as my Fog lamps in my Camry:

I was thinking about buying something like this to be put in the grill and wire it up:

My question is will this look stupid there? Or if it doesnt, what kind of switching setup should i use to get these to work...
If this looks too dumb i think i might go with these instead:

I would just make sure they are weather resistant. Your option 1 doesn't really look it.

That top car looks like it has about five of those v-leds lined up on each side. If that's the look you're going for ... there you go.

Thats the thing: It says that those LED's are waterproof. But at the same time i am wondering if i put it there if #1 its going to look good... #2 is it going to be bright enough... and #3 how i would wire them up and how long the life is on these things.

I'd say, #1 how good it looks will depend on how well you install them, #2 you'll find out after you install them and #3 hell if I know. lol. But I'm sure Chris the LED King can be far more specific on #2 and 3.

Thats what I figured... Personally im kinda stuck between these or some Projection halogens that i can get a good price on... The only problem is with both is that i have to make cut outs in the existing lower lip.

I'd think wiring them up would be pretty easy. Just guessing, as long as you have a switch rated above the combined current draw of all the leds put together, or, use a relay, wiring shouldn't be very difficult. That's just a guess. As far as them being bright enough, how bright is one of those LEDs compared to a typical fog lite?
Edit: well, website doesn't give any specifics on the thing, and at $40 a pop, I don't know.

thats my issue... I want them to be bright enought to make a differnece... not just as a show piece... they have to look good and perform well.

Just to make sure, you know that no matter what you do, they really won't be bright enough to help light the road? They'll be more just for show.
What I would do is make soemthing yourself, using some of those 5chip 100ma superflux 'like' LEDs. You can get them on ebay, and they are bright!
I converted the reverse lights on the Camaro using them, and the difference in amazing.

What I would do is, see if you can open up your factory fog light and retro something into it.
that way it looks stock when off.

Well actually mine is just a flat piece there and i already made a choice... Im not going to go the route of the LED's anymore...
I bought a Projection lens kit that i will mount... this way when i go and upgrade to HID's in the Front lamps i can also add the ballasts and bulbs to the fog lights
I think i might later on get those led light strips for interior accentuation on my Truck though... or maybe on the Camry when i put a system in the trunk to make it look nice.
