Default 1984 Ford Laser Turbo With A Motorised Car Stereo System.

    Hi Everyone
This is my 1984 Ford Laser Turbo that I have owned for 24 years.

I have had this car since 1991 and have installed a couple of stereos in it over the years ,first 6x9 in the parcel tray ,then went to one 10 inch alpine sub. Over time that wasn't enough so added another which was O.K for awhile.

But in 1995 I decided I wanted to do something different.
This is what I came up with.

See Video of system working below.

JL Audio Subs which have just been re-foamed (about 15 years old).

This Is The Main Control Panel for system (there are switches on the back hatch as well).

    Video Of Install (Part 1)

    List of audio gear below.
    Head Unit - Clarion ARX9170

    Dsp unit - Clarion DPH9300

CD Changer - Clarion 18 Disc CDC 1805

    Amps - Rockford Fosgate (2 x Punch 160X4, 2 x Punch 400X4)

    Subs - JL Audio 4 x 10w6

    Front - MB Quarts PSC316

The car has its original battery and alternator to run everything including the motorised parts.
Then I have install a separate larger battery and alternator just for the stereo.
Its great as you don't have to worry about flat battery's any more.

I have made another video (Part 2) which is better quality and has photos of install as well, will put on next page. Thanks

    So awesome,
I could see @GlassWolf; appreciating this system, I know he's a big fan of the old school equipment too.
    Love all the motorized stuff.

Most of the pictures looks large to me.
But I do see one that is small, and that's because you 'attached' an image to a thread. When you do that, it shows up as a thumbnail at the end of the post.

If you link to an image online somewhere, it will display at a larger size. For example, if you link to one of the images you posted on driiive. It will display at full size.

Very nice. sorry it took a bit to reply. I was offline for a while. My computer died, and had to get some money together to build a new one. Unfortunately that was difficult, because my job requires that I have a computer, so I was also out of work. Sucked.
