Does your KIA have a power Antenna? The images I'm looking at of the car, it looks like it has a shark fin antenna on the back. So unless you have a antenna that goes up/down (most cars don't have...

Hi, welcome to the forum, your deck is a little confusing, but I think I have it mostly figured out. See above.

  1. Happy Birthday!!
  2. Your probably better off doing it by ear. but if you really want to use the DMM use 2 ohm because that is the load you are using. set it a bit higher though if you calculated 20v go up to 25v's or so.
  3. Hey bro what load are your subs? do you happen to have a clamp? Using a DMM and the mathmatical calculation is often off more than just doing it by ear. Problem with the DMM method is the dcr changes constantly and its not a constant 1/2/4/8 ohm load so you may calculate at 4 ohm but your actually rising to say 12ohm at 60hz. So what you calculated at 4 ohm is actually off about 33%. There in lies the problem
  4. Have a Happy Birthday bro!
