Need info on a Zeus 650W old school amp, for resale purposes
I bought a HiFonics Zeus 650W amp today, and I've been searching for stats on this amp. Like what the original price was, what the specs on the amp are, etc.
I know this is an old school competition/cheater amp, I hooked it up to just 1 of my SoloBaric 15's and and pounded harder then my RF Power 1100a2 amp on both! But I have 2 1100a2, and several other RF amps so I don't really need this one (I just bought it to resell it). If you guys can give me any info, or a suggested retail price for this amp I'd appreciate it. I took some pics with my camera phone (yeah they're crappy, but I didn't feel like whipping out the digital camera!) so you can see what it looks like. It's a 2 channel, bridgeable to 1 channel mono. It says it has (Chamellon System Design, Stealth Thermal Tracking, Parallel Output System) on the front. It's 22 inches long, and 11 inches across. I searched yahoo, but I didn't see a specific model # on this amp so yahoo wasn't much help. I found an older Zeus 600 on ebay that sold for $350 but it wasn't like this amp. Like I said, any info would be appreciated! In the corner it says Moduel 2CHB-5, 2 channel standard imput moduel. Not sure if that is in fact the model number but I'll look it up.
I went to the amp guts link and even he didn't have the same model as mine. I'll get around to taking pictures of the insides sooner or later and email them to the guy. As for a selling price I don't know yet, I've been trying to research it so I don't get stiffed. Someone posted one up on ebay the other day I'm keeping an eye on to see what it goes for. His buy it now is $450! So I guess they are pretty good amps then! Rick |

that is one of the old and highly sought after zed audio amps. if you pull the case off and look in the lower left or lower center of the board it will tell you where when and by whom. im willing to bet decent money its zed audio and if so its worth quite a bit of cash. if you have use for it keep it you trully have a diamond amoung the ruff.

Im betting its one of them Zeds also. All the ones like it (links I posted) are, so why wouldnt this one be?
Like I said, probably a Zeaus X, following the theme...
