Alpine is expected to announce this summer an update to its SiriusXM radio capability. Through a USB update, it will convert consumers to 360L, becoming the first aftermarket head unit supplier to link to the new service.
While the update will occur via USB, in the future Alpine will offer over-the-air (OTA) updates for various features, with details to follow later this year, said the company. To the best of our knowledge, Pioneer is the only other aftermarket head unit supplier offering OTA updates. Read More >>
