A Spontaneous Day Trip

Toyota 4Runner (2004) - The Daily

With the weather in the Pacific Northwest hitting the 90s today, we decided to take the dog on a little road trip. We headed down to Ocean Shores for the day. On the way, I remembered something I’d always seen but never actually visited. Since we were just out driving around, I thought, why not finally stop?

In Elma, WA, there are these abandoned WNP-2 and WNP-5 nuclear power plants that were never finished or used. We stopped and took some cool pictures in front of the towers. I’ll have to come back here with the Camaro sometime.

After that quick pit stop, we continued on to the beach.
