Today I worked on the reverse lights and the side marker.

Reverse lights

For the reverse lights nothing fancy,  just some superflux cree white LEDs.  2 rows per section.   These ones I'm recessing back into the housing a little, give it a little bit better glow.  These don't need to be as bright as the tail lights.

Market Lights

For the wrap around section,  I remember from last time that space was an issue here.  So this time, I decided to try some automotive LED strips.  My plan is to run one strip along the top of the section that illuminates down.  I think this might work, as it looks pretty good in this test.  Has a pretty even light, the only thing I need to thing about is, how to hide the wire.  The socket enter the light almost dead center.  That kind of sucks,  I would like to hide that.  Going to have to think about this some.

Next Steps:

LED wise, this side is done.  Next I'll need to start the wet sanding and buffing of the lens to make them glossy again and then repaint the grids.
