Sup guys, Bandit here, it's my first time getting a Volkswagen and it needed new headlights. I was dumb and got some off of Ebay without any prior knowledge so of course they're a bit shoddy. One has a majority of the lights out and the other one isn't sealed right and fogs up really bad from the inside which I've heard can cause damage. Immediately ordered some new ones cuz obviously I can't drive without em and lo' and behold about a week later, I've got the new ones in (and, they're mush prettier!). I'm gonna get them on this weekend but I thought I'd share this, bit of an awareness thing too.
Don't ever get headlights on Ebay or Amazon!
P.S. - MAN! who knew replacing headlights could be such a headache? Never would have thought taking off the front bumper would be so damn hard, there's so many screws to lose lol
