Default Do I need to get a two channel Amplifier?

First time installing a sub woofer.
I bought this Chevy Silverado I saw I could put a custom fit low profiles sub woofer box under the backseat. I bought two 1500 W speakers and two 1500 W monoblock amplifiers. Now I am wondering if I am able to run a splitter off of the back of my receiver RCA outputs? Or how would I go about hooking up what I have to work with ? Without hurting the speaker or amplifier? Or should I be thinking of looking for a 3000 W output two channel amplifier?

    Hi Welcome to the forum,

It might help if you list out the equipment you have.

From just how you described it above though, I don't see any issue using 1 amp per sub. Just make sure the specs you're looking at are both the RMS ratings. RMS wattage of the amp, and the RMS rating of the speakers.

As to your question about the splitter, yes that's the easiest way to get the signal to both amps. Some amps also have a pass-through feature, where it will send the singal to the next amp.
