This is actually the one I was looking at. But It's probably like $500+ up here, piss me off.

Mabey I should just copy you with the stereo receiver too.

Those Polks are good looking that's for sure. They'd match the house well.

Home audio goes over my head just as much as car audio. So feel free to mention your favorite stuff, guys. I'd appreciate it, that's for sure.

It's hard to trust the reviewers on the net. Never know if they have their head up their manginas or not.

Ryan, would these Polk TSi300's be on the same level as the R50's?

Ok, I've been searching for a decent blu-ray player along with a decent home theater package and I think I've finally made up my mind.

Just so you know, I'm not looking for top of the line because I don't need it nor can I afford it. But I still want something nice. So I've decided to go with a Panasonic DMP-BD60 blu-ray player and an Onkyo HT-S7200 home theater package.

I chose the Panasonic blu-ray because it's a great player and since I own a Panasonic Plasma, I thought it would be a good match. And if I'm correct, GlassWolf owns the higher model DMP-BD80 player. Since he knows a thing or two about this stuff, I figure what the hey.

I'm going for the Onkyo package because I figure it's a proper audio company. I've read a ton about the major audio companies and Onkyo seems to be a really good choice and I don't think they're going to make a complete garbage package. So it should sound good.

So, what do you all think?

    Figure it's ok?

Or have I totally failed here?

Are you freakin' kiddin' me here?

For proper HDMI cables, it's going to cost an extra $300. I mean, seriously? For three 6ft. cables? son-of-a...

lol. Where did you see that? You wouldn't catch me paying more than $50-60 on three HDMI cables.

Well, I dunno, I've been reading on the subject and it looks like there are many different calibers of HDMI cables. Anything half decent rated for 1080"p" is more expensive than those rated for 1080"i" and anything high speed is also pricey. At about $80+ per 6ft. cable.
