that really depends on what the component is. I got a lot of things from google shopping/froogle when I redid my system, but some things like Martin Logan you will only find at auth'ed dealers in stores.
    I ended up going with:
TV is mounted to the wall with cable routing inside the drywall.
rear and side speakers are mounted on stands, with wall plates for the binder-post terminals. (mounted the plates this afternoon)
components are in a stand (Bell'O) under the TV, with the center on top of the shelf unit.

NorthQuad, that is one sweet looking entertainment center. I could care less about the speakers, damn that entertainment center is a nice piece of furniture.

Thanks! The center came in a box and had to be put together so it came at a decent price. I like the shade of it. It really fades into the background when watching movies in the dark.

I also put the covers on the two tower speakers, so those look much better.

If any of you have an Onkyo receiver with HDMI upconversion and upscaling, and you also have a Panasonic plasma or LCD HDTV, and you have issues with snow/static when using HDMI throughput @ 1080P, Panasonic has a firmware revision to fix that now (when using Onkyo OSD this happens.) so contact Panasonic to schedule a service guy to come out to patch your firmware if you need it.

    just an FYI.

Oh wow, I have a Panasonic Plasma but haven't noticed any snowy static.

Thanks for the info, I'll watch for it.

You'd know if you had it. It's an Onkyo issue with their HDMI processing @ 1080p with OSD enabled, on 2008/2009 model receivers as far as I am aware. AVSforum has a thread on the subject, but Onkyo refused to acknowledge the issue and address it with a firmware update, so Panasonic stepped up and addressed the issue by revising their firmware on their plasma TVs.

I found out about the problem when I researched the TX-NR5009 and TC-P65V10 before buying them.
If you had this issue you'd know. You'd lose video sync entirely and have to disable OSD (onscreen display of volume and menus etc) or drop to 1080i to get video back.
