Here's my center and A-pillars in black ... I like them way better. I took one ride to town and hated them as they were. I'm loving them now.

Getting the 8"s in the doors went pretty well. I thought I had plenty of room for my baffle so I used three pieces of 3/4", but that ended up being a tad too much so I cut 1/2" off and it was fine after that. Also, some of the door skin got in the way so I had to do some trimming there. Other than that, no issues.

I was sorting out the speaker wires in the back of the truck, with my Makita battery, and I have to say, those 8s popped with more bump than any door speaker I've ever popped before. It was ridiculous. I can't wait to get everything hooked up and working! Hopefully by this weekend, if not, by the end of the weekend for sure!

Not yet. I'm hoping to finish my sub box today. Still waiting on my wiring harness to get here so I can put the nav system in. I mounted up the backup camera the other day, finished connecting my door triggers to the alarm and that's it. I had a pit bull wander into my garage yesterday while I was working. He was dragging a short leash, didn't have any tags. Looked like got away from someone while on a walk. I tied him up to the front of my truck figuring someone would be coming around looking for him. Nobody did. I introduced him to my other two dogs and they got along fine so I let him stay in the house last night. I posted an ad in the pet section on craigslist, nobody has responded to that yet. Tried calling all the animal control center phone numbers I could find, nothing but machines. So, I didn't get as much done last night as I had hoped and so far today and I haven't done anything. I took the day off to work on the truck, but so far I've just been a lazy bastard. I need to figure out what to do with this dog. He seems house broken. He knows how to sit on command. He's a puppy. Can't be more than a year or so old.

The little grey one and the one on the left are mine. The one on the right is the stray.

lol, he's made himself right at home.

Have you already taken him in, to see if he's been chipped?

I was about to suggest the same thing. Take him to a vet and have them see if he is chipped. If not, you've landed a hell of a puppy, he's a pretty boy.

I just saw FB, and didn't think this post would be ok on there.

I would take that stray out into the country, and finish him off. If he will act like that toward another animal, his old owners don't need him back.

And I wouldn't feel right handing him off the else, and have the same happen to them.

I'm really sorry for your loss. That sucks...

For those of you that don't have Rob on FB. The stray killed the gray dog in the picture.
