Actually.... that wouldnt really work too well because (i read this somewhere) turning on your car is equivilent to your car idling for 30 seconds

You could put a K&N air filter in, that supposedly helps a little, i dont know of many parts that would help

Also... aftermarket exhausts can help because of easier air flow, lesser restrictions. My brother took of his catalytic converter and put on a different exhaust on his old jeep and gained a lil on gas.

    Sell the camry.

    Buy a diesel.

Convert it to run on restaurants waste oil. They usually give it away for free.

All of the other methods mentioned before are ok ways to gain mpg...but they dont always work on every car.

Your gas millage can't be too bad in a Camery. How far do you have to drive? My jeep only gets about 13 miles per gallon and I drive about 25 miles a day when I'm back in the states. So a $1 rise in gas prices costs me about $2 per day. I just pack a lunch rather than get BK and I'm coming out saving a few bucks and being more healthy at the same time. And it helps to drive like an old man. Keep your car tuned up.

Finally! Someone that can relate, I dirve like 90-95% all city miles in a green 2000 toyota 4 runner. Getting about 10-11 MPG.

Horrible, something might be wrong, everyone from the t4r.org forums report high mileage.

    drive less.
car pool and split gas costs.
    get a bicycle.
do NOT turn off the car when it's moving, and pointless to do at a light.
    also very unsafe.

I know why I get bad gas millage. I lifted my Jeep 8" and run 35" TSL Thornbirds. I haven't had the money to regear the differentials yet. I have to drive around in 3rd. lol.

My other car gets about 18 in the city, but does way better on the highway at about 27 mpg.
