I had a bad rca that caused my subs to sound like s**t . and seen that on one amp
the lp was on which caused that sub to hit harder only when i took the right rca
out of the xover. but when i plug it back in the subs sound like there canceling each
other out.
plus my rear door spkrs was making a low bad ground loose sound . checked the spkr
wires no problem then the rca for the rear door spkr used my tester ***bad rca luckly
i had a xtra set of rca going to this 4 ch amp i'm only using 2ch system is sounding
real good now . i have two kenwoods bridged to 500x1 rms and 2 cerwin vagas v max
12's 2 ohm dvc at 600 rms they pound now. that rca affected my whole system
performance. but i'm glad i figured out the problem. PICS!!!!!!!!!!

i got them at about 50 hz. I got two phoenix gold octane zr 10`s that i`m
going to make a box for and sell them.
the chart call for a 0.80 cu.ft for spl levels but i think i`ll do a 0.91 cu.ft
for each sub with the spkr displacement it will be 0.81.
also i`m thinking on getting that sound stream bass enhancer what you
think this? i love my old music but these songs don`t have a lot of low end.

i assume you mean you have the lpf set at 50 hz? if thats teh case that is too low. try about 75 or 80hz.....once again the reason your missing low end is the enclosure size.

i assume they are sealed and that is volume per sub? the reason some beats dont sound as good is because the box is a little on the small side. this will cause an unnatural "hump" in the frequency response which will cause some frequencies to be more prominent and others to be almost nonexistent.. i used to run some vegas back in the early 90s and was pretty happy with them...

Vega has always been a good product... In fact they just released a revamped set of amps, a couple that finally produce some nice juice... The Stroker 1000.1 and 2000.1 Class D amps ;)

i got a pair of cerwin vegas v max-12.2 and i am very happy with these
they seem to handle different songs beats .

you know some song beats don`t sound to good and others do!!!!
these are rated 600 rms dvc 2 ohms. the price was good and wanted some
thing thats different from the local bass heads.

i made the box it`s a 1.21 cu. ft and with the speaker displacement it brings
it to 1.08 cu.ft. the tech at CV a 1.7 is max but it`s still sounds good.

i bridge my kenwoods 500x1 rms :happy055:
