Not related to car audio, but suspension (I know some shops do that too). A couple of months ago, I was changing the rubber bushings in my 89 Camaro for polyurethane and had the lower control arms and panhard bar out. While working on the panhard bar, I set the end of it over a large socket and used a smaller socket and 4 lb hammer to drive the old bushing out. Not smart...
My hammer hit the smaller socket each time I swung it, but on the last swing, it glanced off the socket and hit my thumb across the knuckle. Where the hammer hit me wasn't the worst part, the edge of the panhard bar end (like an empty cylinder) was under my thumb. My thumb was laid open almost to the bone by that edge of the bar. It took 5 stitches to close a cut about an inch long.
